The number one rule of any serious roleplay server is to have a three-dimensional character. Entering the city saying “Hello, I’m here to be the mafia king” is usually grounds for automatic expulsion for bad interpretation.
A good character needs motivations, fears and, above all, a past (known in the community as Lore or Backstory).
Use our Backstory Generator
There is still time before Rockstar opens the doors of Grand Theft Auto VI, but the most experienced players are already designing who they will be. Use the tool below to generate a base story that you can then develop and present in your Whitelist interview:

Additional tips for developing your character
Once you have your generated idea, you must expand it:
- Give them a realistic name: Avoid names like “ElxX_Killer_Xx”. Use real names that fit their nationality.
- Assign an accent or way of speaking: Do they speak very fast due to anxiety? Do they use southern swamp slang?
- Respect their fears: If in your story you put that they are terrified of dogs, if you see the police K-9 unit you should run away, no matter how much you carry a weapon.
Preparing this months in advance will assure you a spot on the best Leonida servers.
