Introduction to GTA Roleplay

Roleplay (RP) has been one of the fundamental pillars that kept GTA V alive for over a decade. With Rockstar Games’ acquisition of Cfx.re (creators of FiveM), expectations for RP in GTA 6 are sky-high.

What does Roleplay mean?

“Roleplaying” means taking on the role of a fictional character within the game world and acting as if you were them. You are not the protagonist of a story written by Rockstar; you are just another citizen of Leonida. You can be:

• A police officer patrolling the streets of Vice City.
• A doctor attending emergencies at the hospital.
• A mechanic in your own workshop.
• A member of a criminal gang.

What do we expect in GTA 6?

With the official integration of modding teams, it is highly likely that GTA 6 will offer native tools for creating RP servers, making installation easier and improving stability.
